This event features a whistle stop tour through the history of Champagne and sparkling wine, showing its intriguing evolution, the driving forces that have shaped it, and its change in style over the centuries. The tasting also demystifies the world of sparkling wine production, running through the principal techniques needed to ‘capture the sparkle’, with the main focus on the world famous traditional (Champagne) method.

The tasting is much, much more than a uniform tasting of non-vintage bottles; the range is chosen to show a rich variety of tastes.
