Joe Wadsack

One of the best loved characters on the international wine scene, in 2015 Joe Wadsack became the new wine expert on BBC2’s Food and Drink.

Joe’s other television appearances are numerous. After his first appearances on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen, he became Richard and Judy’s wine expert (Channel 4), co-authoring The Richard & Judy Wine Guide (Harper Collins 2005). Joe was also a regular contributor to The Wright Stuff show (Channel 5) guiding the viewer to the month’s best buys.  He also appeared regularly on The Terry & Gaby Show, and was a contributor to Great Food Live, UKTV Food’s live lunchtime flagship show. Finally, for his sins, he also assisted participants on wine etiquette for ITV 1’s hit show Ladette to Lady.

In addition to his media work Joe also won the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) Wine Communicator of the Year award in both 2005 and 2016.
