Latin American inspired cocktail making
and tasting event

The Brief

Our client was acting on behalf of The Central American Tourism
Agency. The brief was to deliver a cocktail making and tasting event
with a Central American theme.


The event began with a non alcoholic cocktail reception of fresh
pineapple muddled with yellow melon, topped up with fresh lime
juice, sugar and mango juice, mixed with fresh sage leaves and finished
with soda.

The cocktail masterclass included a Macua cocktail (the national
cocktail of Nicaragua), a shaken cocktail which includes Flor de Cana
4 Year Old Extra Dry Rum, guava juice, orange juice, lemon juice and
simple syrup, and Mojitos made using Ron Abuelo 12 Year Old Anejo
Rum (a Panamanian producer). Customised canapés including Passion
fruit posset were also served for the evening.


Everybody loved it! Both the client and our guests agreed it was a fun,
yet educational bonding exercise.
