Chocolate and coffee matching masterclass for major coffee brand

The Brief

The Tasting Quarter was tasked with hosting an event for a major
coffee brand. The event was requested for the in store demonstrators
annual conference.

The session had to be different to the demonstrator’s usual role but
be of benefit in their day to day work in store, aiding their selling and
demonstration skills.

The client requested a chocolate making and tasting masterclass,
focusing on matching chocolate with coffee, which the demonstrators
could then use to engage customers in store.


The project involved site visits in store, sampling of the coffee brands
range in advance of the event, the completion of chocolate and coffee
pairing charts, a customised presentation and chocolate tasting range
on the event day, and a chocolate making masterclass.


All went really well. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon and left
with a wealth of knowledge. Guy did an excellent job, incorporating all
discussed elements into the presentation and the afternoon as a whole.
